6:30 PM WELCOME: Call to Order PUBLIC INPUT: • Purpose: For Public comment on Matters falling within the jurisdiction of the Select Board and not on the current Agenda. • Note: Public comment on specific agenda items with a public comment period will be deferred until those items are reached. • Rules: o 2 minutes per person. o A person may speak once. o 10 Minutes total All participants wishing to address the Select Board during Public Comments may do so in person or via Zoom by “virtually raising their hand”. Speakers must identify themselves by name and street address. The Select Board may not deliberate or vote on matters discussed during public comment but are not on the agenda. Select Board Member’s Report CONSENT AGENDA- routine items for approval in a single motion, allowing them to be passed without discussion unless held A. MINUTES: N/A NEW BUSINESS- Items for individual consideration These items will allow for Public Comment (10 minutes) • Purpose: This comment period will allow for public comment on individual and will be held before or after the Board’s discussion of the agenda item, at the discretion of the Chair. • Rules ? 2 minutes per person. ? Potential vote to approve the issuance and details of a loan from the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust and sign related interim loan note closing documents. Staff will provide an overview of the Clean Water Trust Septic Loan Program, followed by a Select Board discussion and potential vote to approve and sign the loan documents. Overview and discussion of the Hamilton–Wenham Regional School District election scheduled for September 15, with participation from Dana Allara, Chair of the School Committee, and Eric Tracy, Superintendent. Review and discussion of the Iron Rail Best Use Study, including consideration of whether to advance any findings for potential action at the April 2026 Town Meeting. Votes may be taken. Discussion of Gordon College’s response to the Select Board’s request for an informal meeting, including exploration of opportunities for collaboration and general areas of interest. Votes may be taken. Discussion and potential vote on a community project to designate two "Senior Parking" spaces at all major town locations (schools, parks, library, etc.) The project includes a community-wide sticker design contest for kids, with the winning design distributed to seniors through the Hamilton and Wenham COAs. The goal is to foster intergenerational engagement and improve accessibility for older residents. Karen Anger will provide conceptual overview.
